A Long Day{Dean}

Waycca smirked at his speechlessness and shook her head. Though, really, she wasn't sure of what to say, either. She rested her head on his shoulder and chuckled, using her amusement to combat any embarrassment.

She reached over him to grab her glass of whiskey and took a sip. "I think it's time for a cool down," she murmured, pulling the blanket tighter around her.

"You think?" Dean responded with an awkward cough before picking up his own glass. He reached down and pulled the lever that sent the chair into its reclining position, how they had managed what they did while in an upright position was beyond him. He smiled contentedly as she pulled the blanket tighter and settled herself against him.

Waycca relaxed into the recliner and stretched her cramped legs out, thankful for the new amount of room. She took another swig of whiskey, growing accustomed to the burn of it. "I decree this a spectacular end to a shitty day," she murmured, briefly lifting her head to leave a kiss on his jaw. She held her glass with both hands, grateful for its cold relief after all that...heat.

"Cheers to that," he gently tapped his glass against hers enjoying the slight ringing sound that resulted from the contact. He eyed the small amount of alcohol that was still in his glass and after a moment of consideration tilted his head back and tossed the liquid down his throat.

"Here's to a better morning," He raised his empty glass slightly before setting it down, he crossed his legs, one over the other and allowed his body to relax, he took one of Waycca's hands away from the glass she was clutching and threaded his fingers through hers.

After raising her glass to meet his, she nodded, hoping he was right. "A better morning, and preferably hangover free," she murmured. She reached over him once more to put her glass on the side table.

Waycca brought their intertwined fingers to her lips and kissed the back of his hand. She shifted so that she was on her side, comfortably resting her other palm on his chest.

Dean smiled, it was interesting how easily they could go from nearly ripping clothes off to chaste cuddling.

"One glass of whiskey shouldn't leave you with a hangover, unless you're planning on drinkin some more." He wouldn't put it past her to continue drinking throughout the evening.

"Who said I didn't have anything to drink before coming here?" she mused, but it had only been a few sips of beer that had been stashed under her bed, as she'd been sober when she showed up at his door. "And who said I'm done draining your whiskey supply?" Though, honestly, she doubted he'd let her get terribly intoxicated. Plus, she was already exhausted by the day's events and really didn't feel like getting tipsy.

"I don't think so," he scolded lightly, "People will notice and start wondering where you got the booze."

Waycca rolled her eyes fondly, shaking her head against his shoulder. "Always the adult," she muttered, tracing lazy, drowsy circles on his chest.

"Clearly not always," he commented considering that he had been acting like a horny teenager, not even five minutes before.

Waycca chuckled, unable to help a wicked grin at the memory. "Mm, well, I'm not complaining," she replied. Her sarcasm could almost outweigh her embarrassment at letting herself get lost in her hormones so easily. Almost.

"No complaints here either," he insisted, he had loved the feel on her on top of him and if he hadn't been bright back to the real world and reminded that she was, in fact, a sixteen year old, he probably would have eventually relocated them to the bed and let the chips fall where they may.

"Good," she murmured, a yawn escaping her. She furrowed her brow for a moment and let out a sigh. "You made me feel better, McCoppin," she said quietly, because it was true, though it took an effort to force out the uncensored honesty. She figured the guilt would invade again in the morning, or even sometime tonight, but for now all was well.

"Ditto," he furrowed his brow when she yawned, "You can sleep here if you like. I still have to pack up some things so ill be in the next room..."

He trailed off, he didn't want her leaving, the selfish part of him wanted her nearby to stave off the return of his own guilt . And the other part wanted her to stay so that is she woke up, plagued by nightmares and guilt he would be there to help her. He didn't want to entrust that duty to anyone else, not even her female friends.

Relief washed over her when he said she could stay. She couldn't stand the thought of returning to her dorm. Akasha would no doubt be there, and even though that would ordinarily be a great relief, she just couldn't face her friends right now without being swamped by memories of this dreadful day. Besides, she liked the idea of falling asleep with him nearby. "I think I'm gonna take you up on that, sir," she replied drowsily, giving his hand a light squeeze.

He felt a rush of relief knowing that she would be nearby, and s sense of, we'll he really couldn't place the emotion that knowing she would be waiting in his bed brought up.

"Good," he murmered, sitting upright to slide the recliners footrest back into place, "come on," he tugged on her hand, "lets get you settled."

He led her over to the large bed and pulled back the sheets, making room for her to slide in under them.

Waycca smiled, following him to the bed. She stood a bit on her tiptoes to give him a lingering kiss before sliding in between the sheets, unable to dwell for a moment on the fact that Dean mus sleep here every night. She let her head fall to the pillow and smirked tiredly up at him. "G'night, sugar lips," she muttered, unable to resist one more jab.

"Goodnight," he responded, pulling the blankets over her body, "I'll be in the next room if you need me."

A wave of the hand and the lights in the room dimmed, probably the only magic he ever did and he slipped back into the main classroom to continue packing the guns.

Waycca watched him until he left the room and she shifted onto her side, falling asleep to his scent on the sheets, praying for a dreamless, guilt-free slumber.
