Gryffindor House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast Empty
PostSubject: Gryffindor House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast   Gryffindor House Table: The Sorting Ceremony and Feast EmptySun Apr 15, 2012 9:35 am

[Your character has entered the Great Hall and sat at their Gryffindor house table. The first years have just been sorted and are now seated.]

Alliss Rivera moved the sorting hat and the stool to the side, taking her position seated next to Albus Dumbledore at the staff table, she awaited his speech, tapping her glass to retrieve the student's attention.

"Welcome to the start of a new term at Hogwarts everyone," Albus stood up and addressed the students. "I would like to remind you that the third floor corridor and the forbidden forest are forbidden to anyone who does not wish to suffer a most painful death." He paused, he wanted to make sure his words had been heard by the students. "That aside, let the feast, begin!" With his last words, he gestured with his hands towards the four tables and a plentiful supply of food appeared.

The transformation still amazed Alliss and she couldn't help but smile as she sat between Riley and the Headmaster when the feast appeared. There was something so welcoming and homely about it.

[Feel free to roleplay as you wish, after the feast, your characters will be placed into dormitories and you shall then continue to roleplay there. The dormitories will be announced in the "Important Lists" section after the feast. Enjoy!]

Scarlet sat down at the Gryffindor table. She looked up to look at Dumbledore, but found herself seeing Daniel Willix..The charms teacher. She looked away and back at Dumbledore, before any sign of blushing would occur on her face. Though she couldn't help but blush only a little. But she pushed it away..not wanting anyone to find out. And it looked like nobody had even saw her blushing. Scarlet then turned to the table when the food suddenly appeared. She looked at the food and started to eat.

When the food appeared,Akasha simply stared at it all, until she saw a pitcher full of water. She put her hand over the top of the pitcher and whispser a word. When she removed her hand, she pulled the now pitcher of blood closer to her person, and poured some into a goblet.

She sipped her drink, practially purring in content at the sweet taste of animal blood.

Zuko carried Peter into the great hall, keeping the boy close throughout all the proceedings, seeing a familiar face in Scarlet and walking over to her, setting Peter down softly, sitting beside him. He sat bored and slightly yawning as he watched the sorting with a bored face, hearing Aliss and nodding blankly, looking down at the food that appeared before him and picking aimlessly, not having an appetite as thoughts ran through his mind. Well, my fiance goes to my schoo, fucking brilliant he scoffed

Fionn drummed his fingers on the table, looking for the-there it was! he heaped the corned beef and cabbage onto his plate, snagging some potatoes and corn as well. he noticed a few first years staring at him and glared. "the hell do you want?" they quickly went back to their own meals as he dug into his own.

Scarlet looked around when she ate. Before freezing when she saw a girl with white hair change the water into blood. She felt her whole body shiver a little, feeling a little uneasy now. She then found herself staring at the girl, making herself look away, feeling bad she had to stare like she did. Scarlet then looked at Zuko and Peter, smiling, "Hello again." She said softly, before hearing someone curse at some first years. She looked up, narrowing her eyes a little at the boy..

How could he be so rude?

She asked herself, before looking away, knowing to just stay quiet.

Akasha watched her housemates with her calculating eyes. She had seen there in past years, but never really paid much attention to them. Though the two best friends at her table caused her to remember something which made her smile softly at the memory.

Zuko frowned at Fion, his higher class breeding causing him to giving a small sneer at the mans behavior, before shaking it off and turning to Scarlet, giving a slight smile "Hey there Scarlet, small handfull of us lions this year hu?" he mumbled awkwardly, blinking when he saw Akasha's spell. Shit, right she's a vampire....

Fionn looked up in time to see Zuko's look and gave a sneer of his own. "you got a problem with the way I eat pretty boy?" he asked quietly, looking at the scar on the other's face. he cut himself a large piece of meat and pushed it into his mouth with his fork. he was starving. there was never enough to eat at home so he always took the opportunity at the feasts to fill his stomach to bursting. maybe not the healthiest behavior, but it kinda worked for him.

Scarlet looked back at Zuko as she nodded, "Yes, yes there is..But, it's great to be back." She said, before looking at the man again. She couldn't believe how rude he was being. And she didn't want a fight at the table, "Um..let's just all be nice to each other.." Scarlet said softly, even though she knew it was better to ignore such things. But she didn't want a fight to start out. Scarlet looked back at Zuko, "How are you feeling? Since the train ride?" She asked.

Peter beamed seeing Scarlet and whimpered seeing the other boy, cuddling into Zuko's side as he looked around humming in quiet thought and chuckled seeing food, quickly eating little nibbles of everything with a grin, "^^"

Zuko frowned once more, his arm going around Peter's shoulders protectively as he held the boy close to his side. "First of all my name is Zuko not pretty boy" he scoffed "Secondly, yeah I kind of do. Your being disgusting, making nasty squelching sounds and getting shit all over my robes. Not to mention you RUDE behavior to the first years" he snapped before sighing once hearing Scarlet and nodding to Fionn "She's right, no need to act like Slytherines" he shrugged, his hand going through Peter's hair as he nodded to Scarlet 'I feel alright, obviously in shock at what you heard but other than that okay, glad to be here."

"excuse me, Zuko so terribly sorry if I offend you with my upbringing" he rolled his eyes and heaved a great sigh, grinning as som of his food came out as well. "bully right here. I'm not going to be nice to people who are going to stare at me for getting my favorite foods" he rolled his eyes but proceeded to eat a little nicer, heeding the blond girl's plea

Scarlet froze when the two started to argue a little. She then felt disgusted at how the food came out of the boy's mouth. She looked at both of them, "Stop it you two!" Scarlet said a bit louder, but still having the softness in her voice. She then looked down and nodded at Zuko. She felt awkward now.

Scarlet let the silence take over a while before speaking, "That is something to be in shock about.." Scarlet said, referring to what he said before.

Peter blinked in between everyone, pouting at their words. He hated fighting and just looked down, drinking his water and he then lifted his head to look around some more.

Zuko furrowed his brow at Peter lowering his head, muttering under his breath so just Peter could hear "Oi, you quitcher poutin gotit? I pwomise zuzu will behave." he smiled, nudging Peter's temple softly with his own head before glowering at Fionn, thinking If you didn't eat like an animal at the zoo they wouldn't treat you like it and stare but bit his tongue as per Scarlet's wishes, and turned to her, nodding "I'm just surprised, it's been......so long I never even THOUGHT about that, it was arranged when we were children."

"sorry girleen. I'll behave" he did eat that way partly on purpose. although Irish weren't the cleanest eaters, they weren't as messy as he was being. he began eating properly, snorting softly at the mushy scene between the red head and black aired boys. he glanced at the blond and then back a this food, going for seconds the minute he'd cleaned it.

Scarlet looked up at the boy, before looking back at Zuko as she nodded. She looked down, "Sorry you two were forced upon that." She said, before looking back up at Peter, "How are you doing Peter?" She asked while smiling.

Zuko felt his head starting to pound furiously as his hold tightened around Peter's shoulders. He just wanted to slink off into the shadows and lie down but he had to stay here. Once hearing Fion's voice his head throbbed even more and he growled low and soft, his hand going to his head. He gave a numb nod to Scarlet's statement, muttering something un-intelegable along lines of "it's fine.."

he shrugged at Peter and looked down at his food. "absolutely nothing" he said, going back to the ever important task of eating. he glanced up again at the sound of the growl and raised an eyebrow. "you got something eating you, Zuko? speak up, don't let it fester"

Scarlet looked down as the man started to go after Zuko again, and stayed silent as she wasn't going to even bother to even try this time. She sighed, before looking back at the vampire girl. But looked away, deciding against starting a conversation. Due to she was starting to get majorly shy.

Akasha smirked mentally in amusement at the humans and their arguements. As long as they didn't start a fight, she'd be alright.

Her green eyes fell on the redhead and brunette, and she titled her head slightly in curiosity. 'Are they lovers...? I wonder...'

She poured herself another goblet and sipped it in contemplation, still staring at the two intimately close boys.

Zuko growled softly at Fion's words once more, his fist clenching under the table as a flame slowly licked his way up his hand, but was quickly snuffed as he was relaxed from his irritation by Peter's snuggling, wrapping the arm back around his shoulders and sighing, looking over to Fion, fighting everything in his nature as he simply just scoffed "Some of us have filters from our minds to out mouths you know."
