[Event #1] Need you out from here! ((OPEN))

Grace stayed on the ground, not hurt horribly, but she had multiple cuts bleeding slightly on her body, her face was clean however and her hands as well, she was grateful, she would need them. Her body ached and she felt a massive headache nearing. She moaned and sat up slowly, leaning against the bed, watching the scene unfold. Aileen seemed to snap out of the curse and collapsed, her friend Julliette talking to her. All of the teachers were shuddering and twitching and Grace rolled her eyes. A little torture and they were bawling like babies. Grace was genuinely hurt, she'd take the cruciatus curse over lasting wounds anyday.

Dean stopped moving across the floor and propped himself up on his knees as Aileen became paralyzed and fell to the ground, another Slytherin girl hovered over her, obviously worried.

He looked around the room, at the chaos that had managed to happen in what was probably only half an hour. Grace was propped up against a bed, injured, but alive and conscious. Belle and Sitka were both still on hospital beds, Sitka was still under the body bind and Belle looked like she was hovering somewhere close to unconsciousness.

He couldn't see Miranda well enough to assess her condition and the Minister stood over it all completely unscathed, it was in a way comforting to see that not everyone had been hit.

Miranda gasped for breath as the curse was lifted. Her entire body ached, and she was strangely disoriented. Her arms shook as she struggled to push herself up from the floor. She noticed Dean kneeling on the floor, still weak from the curse. Aileen was laying prone on the ground, eyes wide and frightened. Belle was on a hospital bed with the minster of magic standing over her. When did he get here?

She glanced over at Grace who was propped up against a bed. Her skin was still red and raw, but luckily the healing curse she had performed before being attacked herself had stopped the bleeding. Miranda's wand had rolled away somewhere, but there was no way she would find it at the moment. Black spots flashed across her vision making it hard to focus.

Her heart broke as she looked at the bodies spread out across the floor. Everyone seemed to be recovering at least. No one had any real lasting damage. As soon as Sitka and herself were capable of moving properly again, they could begin treating people. How many more all over the castle were affected? She knew there had been more in the Shrieking Shack the night before.

Aileen spell broke as she woke up from the Imperio curse.. he watched all the scene powerless.. all the people in the room were tortured under his eyes and he couldn't do anything..
He touched his head as he woke up and come closer to Miranda.. "Miranda.." he said taking her from her arms and helping her to wake up and come on a bed.. he looked around.. The minister of magic? he didn't even see him coming in..

"Are you alright?" Niklaus edged back toward Belle when he was sure the curse had been lifted. He whispered the words gently to her, to not startle her, she already looked like a startled rabbit caught by a lumos spell, there was no need to make her any more surprised. He waited patiently for her reply before realising he should probably force out some concern for the others.

"Is everyone as alright as expected here?" The Minister turned and looked over all the injured and those in pain. "No fatal injuries as of yet?" He double-checked everyone before his eyes fell on the body of a small hufflepuff child. Ah, he supposed it was necessary damage for the changes that were to come. The sight did not phase him, he was used to such cruelty. After all, she had died for a greater cause, that of the Dark Lord. Nonetheless, he was aware the others wouldn't share his views so a masquerade of loss would have to be played out.

Walking slowly towards the small body, he lifted the little girl into his arms and placed her delicately onto a hospital bed, before covering her with a white sheet. He did all this with a solemnly grave face, surely that was enough? He was undecided. Noticing the doctor from his uniform, he distracted himself from the child. "Ah, Doctor, would you kindly assess everyone for physical damage?" He nodded in Sitka's direction before relaxing, feeling he had done his duty and heading back towards Miss Mallery.

"You are too nice, you know." Niklaus sighed awkwardly.

Belle finally managed to get a grip on herself and sit up properly, although her body was still a bit sore from the Cruciatus Curse. At least it hadn't been performed on her long. She knew some people could become crippled, physically and mentally, from it. She let out an uneasy breath, looking up when Nikalaus started speaking to her again. "I'm...I'm fine, nothing I won't eventually recover from," she replied. Nikalaus left her alone for a moment to check up on everyone else, and to place Lilo's body on one of the empty beds. Belle felt herself get nauseous at seeing the dead little girl. She wasn't used to things like this. She had never been part of things like duels or violence. She preferred peaceful ways of magic, ways of working with nature to help animals or the people around you. Nikaalus seemed pretty calm though. Maybe he had seen things like this before during his time as Minister. "Too nice?" she repeated, raising an eyebrow. What was that supposed to mean?

Dean forced himself to his feet, muscles were still weak from strain and his head was throbbing. He saw Sitka helping Miranda to a bed and the Minister placing the still body of the Hufflepuff first year on a bed with reverence before exchanging soft words with Belle.

He staggered towards the bed that Belle was laying on, when he reached it he leaned heavily against the wall. He waited patiently for them to finish their quiet conversation, focusing instead on the other people in the room.

When they were finished talking he turned to his friend, with a serious expression, “Belle,” He started, “I need to know what I did. There is a chunk of my memory unaccounted for.”

Things began to unfold around her as Aileen laid paralyzed on the floor. She heard people speak, asking who was alright while Juliette inspected her. Upon Juliette's concerned voice as she called her name, Aileen gave the other a questioning look. I do not know quite where I am. Why I am here. What has happened. Just what is going on? she thought as she did her best to convey these feelings to her friend.

She tried to look at everything else around her, finally realizing she was in the hospital wing. But that only further made her wonder why she was there at all. Blue eyes closed as she began to think of her latest memory. A letter... threatening Julie... and then she went to find who dared threaten a Viper. The shack.... Rose was there, and Ambrose. There were a few other students... and even some Professors. Then.... Blue eyes snapped open in fright as she took in a sharp breath. The Dark Lord! he had been there. His voice sending shills down her spine even now that she was no longer there.

What had happened after that?

Movement caught her attention at the corner of her eye, and she watched as the Ministry carried something in his arms. Sickness hit her as she realized it was the bloody body as a young child, no doubt a first year. She did not know who it was; by neither name, house nor blood status. all she knew was that it was a small child covered in blood. And she was not moving.

Merlin just what had occurred here?

Miranda leaned heavily against Sitka, her body still slightly weak. Though Sitka tried to put her on a bed, she refused. There were scared students here who needed help.
"My wand," she said in a strained voice, glancing around the wing. It had fallen from her hands when she had been hit with the curse.
Her heart gave a painful twang as she saw all the pained faces, looking around them. Belle seemed well cared for, she noticed......Dean was able to stand and had a solemn expression on his face. Aileen and Juliette just looked purely terrified. She glanced over at Grace, who was propped up against a bed. The spell Miranda had cast earlier had stopped the bleeding. But that was a healing spell that needed several layers. But she wouldn't be able to do anything until her wand was found. But she could STILL do some good. She knew the terror Aileen was feeling right now.
Miranda stumbled over to the young slytherin and clumsily sat beside her. The two of them had never spent real time together. But all Miranda knew was she was a scared young woman. She was still locked in the body bind, but Miranda still didn't have her wand. She huffed a frustrated sigh and glanced around for anyone with a wand.

Grace looked around for a moment before sighing, this lot would take a while to recover, so it seemed. She smirked and began to clean up her own wounds, wincing and pouring dittany she'd grabbed from the nearest table onto her cuts. Grace bit her lip as it stung sharply and watched everyone mope, even if they had no visible wounds. Idiots.

The room was in panic of a sort, a dull, pacified, panic that irritated her more than random screaming and balloons. She reached into her bag which lay beside her and snuck a shot of whiskey. That ought to relax her a bit.

Juliette laid on the ground, trying to get use to the pain she felt throughout her whole body. Though wanting to protect her pride, she started to get off of the floor. Which wasn't the smartest idea. She started to feel dizzy as she could feel the venom from the Cobra coursing through her veins.

And when she suddenly felt the bite stinging, she sat back on the bed and pulled down her sock, revealing the bite. She slowly looked up at Aileen who seemed confused and still in the body jinx. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at one of the professors.

"Can you see she is back to her normal self? Lift the bloody jinx," She said in a harsh tone, "Stop looking like all deer in headlights. You're teachers, not students!" She hissed. And before they could speak, she got up and limped towards the medical supplies. She wanted to get rid of the poison. And she was grateful her grandfather had told her what she needed to get rid of the poison.

And as she took out the proper stuff, she immediately went to work on her bite.

Miranda snatched up her wand, which someone had kicked over toward her.
Waving it over Aileen, she said forcefully, "Finite Incantatum."
"Come on, sweetie," she said softly helping the girl to sit up slowly. "It's going to be alright. I'll explain in a minute ok? You're safe right where you're at. I've just got to check on everyone else."
She knew her words would mean little to the girl who had just been cursed and forced to do terrible things.
Her usually soft and sweet demeanor had vanished. The students in her care were threatened. She stood up, her face a fierce mask.

"Your attitude is not helping Miss Valentine," she said in a commanding tone. "Whether you like it or not, there is a proper procedure for accomplishing things in a situation like this." She stared the girl down, watching as she began to work on her bite. At least the girl knew where to start. She glanced around the room. Dean and the Minister were hovering over Belle, completely ignoring the rest of the students. Anger flared inside of her.

She strode up to them, her legs still a little wobbly, but nevertheless her voice was firm enough. "We can all talk about what happened soon enough. Right now, there are students who need tending to. Juliette's got a poisoned leg, Grace needs further healing from the Sectumsempra curse, and Aileen is still trying to figure out what has just happened to her." She glared from one to the other, ending with Dean. "We need to help who we can before it's too late."

With that, she spun on her heel and made her way back to Aileen. "How are you feeling?"

Dean sighed and looked over at Miranda, he knew she was right but he was no better at healing than he was at battle magic.

"Miranda, you know I'm perfectly useless when it comes to magic, at best I would only make things worse. Otherwise I would just be in your way. The only thing I could do to help is make something warm to drink."

He really hated bein so useless...he had only ever understood the theory of magic, putting it into practice was beyond his abilities.

So much for being of help. Belle had gotten so distracted by the Minister showing up on the scene that she completely forgotten the other students. Luckily, Miranda was there to help her focus on what was important. "Right. Sorry." She swung her legs over the bed, mumbling "Excuse me," to Nikalus before getting to her feet. "Well, we can always bandage any wounds for now and let a professional work some magic later," she said, turning to Dean. "You're good at that, right?" She cracked a little smile, remembering how she had walked into his classroom to find him nursing his own sprained ankle. Luckily, Sitka seemed to have some supplies on hand, including some bandages and a bottle of liquid made out of herbs Belle recognized. It was made from a flower down in the Amazon, and was usually used to help sanitize any blood injuries. It was very similar to the rubbing alcohol that Muggles used. "Hope you can deal with a little stinging, Miss Wang," she said as she walked over to the Gryffindor. "Then again, it looks like you're dealing with this curse better than others. You're a very brave girl." She smiled at her as she poured some of the liquid onto a bandage before wrapping it around Grace's arm.

Juliette's words only added to her confusion. What did she mean back to her normal self? What's going on? she wondered. Her mind was still a little fogged still and her brain could not fully process what was given to her. In the back of mind, she understood in a way. But it had yet to reach her consciousnesses of understanding.

Professor Melgrove waved a wand over her, from what she could see from her the corner of her eye, and soon the paralysis was gone. her body went limb, freed from its frozen state, and slowly she began to move her limbs. The blond woman helped her sit up, speaking sweet gentle words as if worried she would spook the Slytherin. In her somewhat frazzled state, Aileen had no choice but to allow herself to be moved like a doll into a sitting position. She did not speak, blue eyes looking about for a better asset of what might have occurred.

It was no better than what she could see in her frozen state. Everyone seemed to be injured and in pain, and there was a a pool of blood on the floor. Aileen paid no attention to the others, or the blonde professor as she addressed the others. Her focus was brought on the pool of blood before looking about. And as she gazed around, she spotted the lump on one of the hospital beds with the white, slowly turning crimson, sheets covering over it. She felt sick.

A deep breath was taken in before Aileen forced herself to calm down and place her mask back on. When Professor Melgrove returned to her, asking of how she felt, her face was calm and collected. "I'm fine." she said calmly, her voice sounding as it always did even as the lie went smoothly passed her teeth. Her eyes betrayed nothing.

Miranda glanced behind her and saw Belle with Grace. Good, at least the girl was getting some attention. She kept her focus on Aileen. She gently brushed the girl's dark hair from her face, and held her gaze with her own uncharacteristically fierce one.

"You don't have to lie right now. It's just me." No one would be fine after all that had happened. And she knew all too well the horror and disorientation of coming out of the Imperius curse.

She waved her wand over the Aileen's body slowly, using a simple diagnostic charm to assess if there was any physical damage.

[Does Aileen HAVE any physical injuries? just double checking ]

Blue eyes kept their attention to the woman in front of her, no longer wishing to see everything else. She didn't know what happened, she didn't want to know. She wanted to remain ignorant and forget what she could remember. The Dark Lord's voice echoed in the back of her mind, but she forced herself to not shiver.

When Professor Melgrove bruised a strand of her hair, she blinked back into the present. The motion was... comforting. At it left Aileen a bit unnerved. She was unused to such actions, and while in such a vulnerable state as well. Blue eyes hardened a little as more masks built up on her face. She couldn't be vulnerable. Not ever.

"I am not lying Professor." she said softly, giving the mask of a calm though confused smile. "I must admit that I am.. bewildered as to why I am here. But I am fine otherwise." Aileen did not wish to think of anything. Rather preferred to play pretend and forget about it all. She was there as well. A voice told her in the back of her head.

Yes, she remembered. Professor Melgrove had been among those at the Shrieking Shack. Had she been summoned in a similar fashion as she had? Or- or was she a follower? Nonsense. She had been a HufflePuff. Dark Wizards do not come out of that house. she thought, mentally shaking her head for such a silly thoughts. All other thoughts were pushed away form her mind, left to be forgotten.

(Bruising on her back and sides from when she was hit by stupify and than later fallen to ground from body bind. And her left hand will be bruised with some broken skin from how hard she was knocking on wooden doors earlier.)

Juliette glared at Professor Melgrove.

"Excuse me for having a attitude Ms. Everyone should be happy and calm. But I was just attacked by two people under the Imperius Curse. I have the bloody right to act however the hell I want!" She hissed, before looking away to finish working on her leg.

Though when anyone tried to help her, she would either walk away, or tell them to go away. She wanted no help from anyone.. And she wanted that to be clear. And when the Professor started to speak again, she tried to work on the bite faster. God how she loved that her Grandfather taught her these things.


And when she was finally done, she didn't say anything. Due to there was nothing she could say.. She also just wanted to leave and go to her common room and just sleep the day away. God she hated this day so far.

Dean could feel the headache building behind his eyes, so much was happening and he was useless. Belle, Miranda and Sitka were all tending to the injured, though Sitka's eyes kept drifting to the body outlined by white sheets. The students themselves seemed to be managing alright, although he couldn't honestly say that the blonde Slytherin was in control of her anger with the way she was snapping like a turtle. 

The longer he stood on the sidelines the more he wanted to get out of the room. As he scanned his surroundings for what felt like the umpteenth time, his eyes caught the metallic glint of the forgotten pistol lying on the ground. 

He walked over to it and he could feel the tension build when he knelt to pick it up. Solemnly, he stood and turned the safety on, popped open the chamber and emptied the two remaining bullets into his palm. 

He set the bullets on a table and started towards the door, when he passed Belle he paused. 

"I'm going to get rid of this," he muttered, "Maybe I'll throw it in the lake." 

He knew he would be sending the collection back home, but no one would miss the one pistol and he couldn't send it back after what it had apparently been used for.  

Miranda took Aileen's hand and squeezed tightly. She didn't believe the girl for a second.

Softly, so only the slytherin could hear, she said, "You may not trust me or even like me, Miss Quinn. But right now, we, all those who oppose the evil trying to destroy our home, have to stand together. We must learn to be honest and even trust each other, even if just a little bit."
She began tapping her wand against the different minor wounds scattered across her body as she spoke.
"I was there too, remember." Her eyes stared into Aileen's, a dark intensity rising within her, fueled by her hatred of Dark Magic. Only one person had ever seen that part of her. To most, she was the carefree 'creautre-woman.' But today...today she would be everything she had to be.

"I won't deny I was frightened, not for myself, but for those around me."
At that moment, Juliette's voice broke in. Miranda's temper snapped. She stood and spun around to lock her furious gaze with Juliette's.
"Look around you, Miss Valentine!" she snapped. "You are not the only one in this room affected by today's events. And many have it worse than even you. There is a young girl lying dead. So no, you don't have the right to act 'however the hell you want'." If someone didn't stop her soon, Miranda was liable to do something rash. But as she opened her mouth again, Juliette had made her way towards the exit.
She clamped her own mouth shut, eyes still fuming. She fought to control her breathing.

Grace watched the conversation dully, they were irritating the hell out of her. They were engaging in petty arguments when there was much more at stakes then their dignities. Grace fixed her hair again and stretched her legs waiting for them to resolve it on their own. After a minute or so she saw Julliette begin to leave.

"Hey, I hate to interrupt your debate here since its running so smoothly but could we focus on the matter at hand?" Grace called out in an irritated voice.

"Are we under attack or not, because I'm not going to wait around and listen to you all argue any longer when I could be resting." Grace complianed in a bored voice. She stood and walked across the room to grab her wand from where it had rolled.
"If we are under attack.... Why is everyone sitting around? The cruciatus curse doesnt break your legs."

Belle could see Grace getting irritated as the argument between Miranda and Juliette carried on. But Belle found it easy to tune out. She had been so useless earlier, she felt she had to make it up somehow. And right now, the best way to do that was to make sure Grace's injuries were bandaged. She glanced up when Dean walked past her. She simply nodded at what he said. No doubt he needed some time alone to absorb what had happened, and what he had done. Maybe the right thing to do would be to bring him to Alliss or Dumbledore, since he did kill a girl and all. But she couldn't bring herself to do it. He was one of her closest friends, after all. And he was the victim of a curse. They couldn't fault him for that, right? Grace seemed to want to take action rather than sit around though. She easily got up to her feet and grabbed her wand, demanding answers all the while. "Grace, wait, you should take it easy for a while," she said as she hurried after her, the bandage roll still in her hand. "Look, we're not entirely sure what's going on right now. All we know is that several people have been hurt and we're doing out best to take care of them while we sort things out. Alliss and Dumbledore will soon be informed, as will the rest of the teachers, and they'll figure out a proper course of action. Trust me, if we're under attack, you'll be the first to know." She sighed as she brushed her hair back. Funny. Pretending she knew what to do actually made her feel a little more confident. Who knew? Hopefully, that would satisfy Grace for the moment while things got settled.

A slight frown formed on her lips as the blonde professor squeezed her hand. It was obvious the woman did not believe her. If it not had been for the fact that Professor Melgrove had also been there, Aileen would have began to think something was wrong with her masks. But she had worked too long and too hard for them to be anything but perfect.

Upon her words, Aileen kept her face calm and collected. Honesty? Trust? Did this woman not know she was speaking to a Slytherin? Such things were hard to come by in her house, and wise to do without on many occasions. Besides... who was to say she would fight against evil? And just what was evil anyway? Nothing but a aspect of reality that changed in the eyes of the beholder.

And when the beholder was Aileen... well- she had no thoughts of what was evil and what wasn't. She was just a puppet.

Upon Juliette's angry words, Aileen snapped her head int he direction of her friend. Imperius? Earlier she told the others I was back to normal... Imperius... Oh Merlin.

She had truly been a puppet then. Controlled against her very will to do Merlin only knew what. And she had no memory of it what so ever. The Slytherin girl and never felt so vulnerable. Don't think. she thought to herself, taking in a deep breath. She removed her hand out of the blonde professor's grip just as the woman stood and turned around. She tuned out whatever the woman was speaking about, her mind focusing on forgetting.

Vaguely she heard a Gryffindor speak, and another professor speaking as well. But their words did not register to her. Without a word, she arose from the ground. Blue eyes looked at nothing as she silently made her way to the door. She wanted to get out of there. Wanted to leave and head for her room. Sleep it all way and it would become nothing but a dream. Yes just a dream.

It never happened at all.

Sitka glanced around.. in that moment he wasn't able to handle the situation.. Miranda taht was yelling at a student.. another one that was shouting too.. Belle helping that student and Dean was walking up and down.. He sighed giving a quick look at the dead body of Lilo.. passing an hand through his hair he sighed again.. How could he expalin it to Nani? To the grandma?! He had to send an owl immediately at home and looking for Nani.. So he walked towards the door giving a quick look at the others.. he sighed and came out to go to the Owlery.. they would be able to manage the whole thing..
