John Smith was wondering around Hogsmeade Village, trying to figure out where to go. It was his day off and today he was alone. Peter was watching the Hufflepuff quidditch team practice, since he adored it so (John didn't fancy quidditch and would rather not be forced to sit there and watch the practice). So here he was, strolling down the street with his hands shoved in his pockets. He remembered the good ol' days when he would come here with his friends; they'd all have a grand old time and they would occasionally yell at John to get his head out of the clouds. That reminded him, he should really write to Max and Jenny; they had surprisingly gotten married as of late and John regretfully had to miss the wedding due to school. "Good thing Jenny's a great cook, or else Max wouldn't be able to survive," John chuckled quietly to himself, shaking his head at the thought.
Then, he stopped in front of The Three Broomsticks and suddenly craved a butterbeer. John made his way into the pub/inn and within minutes had bought himself a butterbeer and found himself a secluded table in the back, one where he could see what everyone else was doing. People watching could be quite fun on occasion. As he sipped the delicious drink, he observed the students coming and going, making him wish he was still a student. He had some great times at Hogwarts when he was young, had met some great people. John paused with the drink resting on his lips. He wondered what Vanessa was doing, but tried not to linger on it. He didn't want to take up all of her time, hence why he was here at The Three Broomsticks by himself, drinking a butterbeer.
