Of Dresses and Wigs {Fionn}

Molly was wondering around the library, searching mainly for Astronomy books. You could say she had gotten a new found interest in it and although most of the time she thought learning about the stars was kind of pointless, she'd try and become a little more open minded. Molly sighed, flipping through one of the books she had found. They were just balls of gas, what more could they be?

Molly closed the book and shoved it back onto the shelf before looking at the others. It was a relatively calm day; Molly was here in between classes and it was unusually quiet. It was rather nice, though, and allowed Molly freedom. Madame Pince had gone on her lunch break, so it was completely dead - she had left with a stern glare at Molly to keep things in line. She was probably the worst one for the job, but oh well, she had the whole library to herself and it was nice for a change.

Fionn slipped into the library. he had a cram session to do before the test on astrolagy later that day and he'd better get started. low and behold who was there however and he smirked, slipping in behind her. "some legends say that the stars are transformed fairies" he whispered eerily into her ear, trying not to laugh outright.

Molly flipped through pages and pages of stars. They all had interesting names, that was for sure. Maybe it wasn't that dull after all, but they were still balls of gas. Molly pursed her lips, looking at a Supernova; it was kind of pretty, actually, even if it was a huge explosion that would burn everything up.

"Some legends say that the stars are transformed fairies."

"Merlin's panties!" Molly exclaimed, jumping a good foot in the air as the book she was holding flew off to the side. Her heart was racing and she was beginning to wonder if people really enjoyed sneaking up on her. Turning around, a little flustered and angry, Molly was not surprised to see Fionn - she recognized his voice. Her blue eyes narrowed and she poked him in the chest. "What the hell is wrong with you, Blondie?!" She questioned.

he snickered. "wrong with me? absolutely nothing. besides needing the book you were reading. and wondering why you still use the curse 'merlin's panties' but that's besides the point" he struggled to laugh quietly. he picked up the book she'd dropped and flipped through it. "how in the name of St. Patrick are we supposed to memorize these bloody things? they're just balls of fire. pretty much all the same thing" he sighed. "yes, yes. my fault for not studying until thee hours before the test. but really I hate astrology"

Moll let out a snort. "No need to lie, Blondie, there's everything wrong with you," she rolled her eyes. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest, eyes narrowing at Fionn once more. "It's a habit," Molly admitted; habits were always hard to break, especially when one was startled. It was definitely a good thing that Madame Pince had gone off for lunch, or she'd probably be escorting the two of them out before anything started.

"Having trouble?" Molly teased. Not that she wasn't, but she hadn't particularly cared about the class until now. She wasn't expecting to pass with flying colors, just enough to go on to the next level. She'd recommend a tutor, if she wasn't already considering on getting his help - the tutor's, that is, not Fionn - Fionn wouldn't have been able to help her, obviously.

he rolled his eyes. 'why do you always accuse me of having something wrong with me?! you're the one constantly putting me in a dress!" he glowered at her and continued looking through the book. "no worse than you are. or you'd be in a different section of the library, not here looking at gas bubbles" he chuckled. "it's ha habit for me to speak in Welsh, but I don't do it every three seconds" he retorted and tossed her the book, going to another shelf. "I'd ask if it was that time of the month, but you're always like this"

"Yes, but that's fun," Molly pouted, her arms still crossed over her chest. She considered doing it once more, but it would be to expected at the moment. Molly rolled her eyes once more. "I'm not that bad at it. I just have a new found interest in it and decided to study up," Molly stuck her nose in the air before reaching out to grab the book Fionn so rudely tossed at her. "I don't say Merlin's panties every three seconds!" Molly glared at him before putting the book back on the shelf, now having been tainted.

Molly scoffed before picking a random book off of the shelf and throwing it at Fionn's head. "I'm a sweet, loving, caring person!" Molly put her hand to her chest, acting the part of the diva which she often did. "I don't know what you're talking about!"

"really?" he pitched his voice into a comedic parody of hers. "that's not good enough. go take the hits, Fionn while I go blow our play with my stupid girly habits" he batted his eyelashes for added effect, then dropped his voice back to normal. "and I could say giving you a pig nose is fun bbut I don't try to do it every day!" he snorted. "you're as bad as I am. it's the one class we get matching scores, remember? and you totally do! if you're sweet loving and caring, I'm a dragon's hatchling. and don't you?" he rolled his eyes.

Molly scoffed once more, placing her hands on her hips now. "Excuse me! What stupid girly habits?" Molly questioned. She nearly pulled her wand out and jinxed him to float on the ceiling, but decided against that. She rolled her eyes yet again, something she seemed to do all the time when she was around Fionn. Her hands then flew up to cover her nose. "Not my beautiful nose! You leave my nose alone, Blondie! And plus, I don't do it every day... more like every other day. Which color would you like next?" She taunted.

Molly sighed and shrugged. "Yeah, well, I'm thinking about getting tutored and then who'll be on top? Me!" Molly stuck her tongue out at him. "Excuse you, I am a nice person! I'm a lovable puppy dog... figuratively, of course, but still!" She wasn't about to tell him that she literally turned into a lovable puppy dog, but figuratively was a good substitute.

more like a growling slobbering mutt that's never full" he shot back and rolled his eyes. "oh, what stupid girly habits? dozing off? getting distracted easily? and did I see you fiddling with make-up earlier this week?" he shook his head. "you're right, absolutely no girly habits there. "and blue would be nice, offset the violet my roots are still colored" he bent over to show her the evidence. "if you leave my hair alone, I will stop jinxing your nose" he smirked. "pitty, though. just figured out how to do a cat"

"I do not get distracted easily, that's you!" Molly corrected him, her arms crossing over her chest once more. She rolled her eyes again. "For Merlin's sake, I did that once during practice... I had a zit," Molly pouted. Sure, she could be girly sometimes, but she didn't often let it get in the way of playing.

Molly couldn't help but giggle at his hair, a small smile forming on her face as her arms fell down to her sides. "Ugh, fine, but you'd look beautiful with pink hair, y'know?" Molly snickered. "A blue evening gown would look very lovely on you; would you like to wear it for dinner?" Molly asked, both of her eyebrows rising in question.

"Nah, I'm a puppy, no doubt," Molly shrugged, a smirk on her face.

"I wasn't talking about practice" he grinned at her. "and I do not! if I look good with pink hair, you look better with black" he took his wand out and pointed, Molly's hair quickly shifting from red to black and silver. "a right goth, there. want a goth lolita dress to go with it?" first time he'd ever done those sorts of spells on her, but she really had it coming! "and no. I hate bule, it really doesn't look good on me" he began backing up, grinning as he put her in a black and red victorian dress. "be seeing you miss Starkey!"

Molly narrowed her eyes at him. "Yeah, well, sometimes I need a little lip gloss, so sue me," Molly stuck her tongue out childishly. "Pft, you totally do-" Molly got cut off as Fionn jinxed her beautiful ginger hair to black and silver. Molly let out a surprised scream, examining the ends in her hands. "Why you little!" She was jinxed into a black and red Victorian dress just as she was pulling out her want. She advanced on him, but it was a little hard to do without tripping in the dress. She jinxed his hair pink and gave him a pink mini-dress to match. "Now get back here so I can punch you!" She picked up the ends of her dress so she could attempt to move without tripping and falling flat on her face.

"sorry princess, but in a mini skirt I can still run faster than you!" he began walking quickly away, not worried at being caught, the dress was throwing off her aim as well as slowing her down. over the years he'd gotten very good at walking in heels and a skirt, courtesy of a certain angry girl behind him. "I can work pink, and to be honest, you look really good in black!" he snickered and continued. he'd do the counter spell later, right now was a little time to blow off steam. "why would I stick around so you can punch me, my dear lady Molly?" he cackled at the sight of the red-faced 'goth' Molly.

[bahaha, I know right? They're relationship makes me laugh, oh man, I love it. xD]

Heels weren't Molly's problem, it was the damned dress that was. The top was tight, much like a corset, and the bottom poofed out and had so much to it. Molly didn't have anywhere to shove her wand, unless she wanted it sticking in between her bosom, so she held onto it while she held her skirt up just a bit so she could run. Why hadn't she given him a dress just as long? Curse her thoughts to humiliate more than for movement!

"Just get back here!" Molly yelled after him. She was going to kill him and it was definitely a good thing that Madame Pince wasn't here - they'd both be in Dumbledore's office in a flash.

((soo tempted to find a good audio of Dimitri and Anya on the train-I have the feeling these two get mistaken for a couple a lot, because of their fighting. what about you? XD))

Fionn glanced back and almost choked he was laughing so hard. "how does the sweet tang of payback feel, Molly? does it sting?" for those who didn't know him, his moodieness would make it seem like he'd join the deatheaters for the smallest slight and get back at the people who caused him grief. for those who did, they'd know he was much more goofy. doing things like jinxing Molly into a dress was the farthest he'd go in revenge, and it was more satisfying. "I will do nothing of the sort. you know why? I'd hate getting pummeled by a girl again. I do need some street cred this year" and he was saying it in a hot pink mini-skirt...eh.

["You guys are fighting like an old married couple!" Oh yeah, I can picture it happening often. xDDD]

Molly glowered. She knew how to dish her pranks, but taking them was much different for her. Molly's temper was comparable to none. She was a wild as a fire. Not that she'd hurt him too much, not enough to put him into the hospital wing or anything - just enough to leave a bruise on his smug little face! "Street cred? Blondie, you'll never have that kind of cred," Molly let out a snort, "With that said, come here and I'll give you a nice black eye!"

[could you imagine someone walking in on this. xD Bahahaha.]

"nope, never had it because of you" he stoped and turned to face her, arms folded. "you know, people who don't believe me when I tell them I'm not dating you are worried about our 'abusive relationship' you should really get a handle on that temper" he smirked at her and continued walking. "Molly, leave it alone or I'll make you dance again. and you can barely walk in that so yea...." ((Pippa can walk in >))

Molly stopped once he did and gave him a small curtsy. "You're welcome," she smirked. She was gonna punch him in the face that very moment, but he mentioned how people don't trust him when he says that they weren't a couple. Her face scrunched up in distaste. "Us, a cou-" she couldn't even finish the word, a shiver running through her body. "Ew, that's just so gross!"

Molly let her skirt down in frustration and narrowed her eyes. "Not if I make you dance first," She smirked, flicking her wand in his direction.

"that's what I told them!" his eyes widened and he lunged out of the way of the spell, looking over a shoulder when he heard a muffled 'eep'. the red-head girl Pippa was dancing a jig. he face-palmed. "MOLLY! this is all your fault! take the jinx off the kid! she doesn't deserve that!" he stood up and smoothed his skirt out. "hi kid. blame the goth girl and we'll be good"

Pippa was going into the library to find a book on puffles when suddenly she started danicing and couldn't stop. she looked between the cross-dressing Fionn and the black and silver haired goth girl Molly. "um....I like dancing, very much. but I was coming to see mom and get some books on puffles. can you make me stop now?"

"My fault? This is all your fault! You dodged it!" Molly argued before taking the dancing jinx off of the young red head - Pippa, if she remembered correctly. Her mother was Madame Pince - which was just great, here she and Fionn were in dresses, throwing jinxes around. Hopefully she wouldn't tell her mother and they wouldn't have a date with Dumbledore.

"Bah, sorry, it's all his fault," Molly sent a glare at Fionn.

"my fault?! you were the one that cast it Molly!" he gave a death glare at the girl before looking at Pippa. "you won't tell your mom, will you? I don't think anyone will be happy with us if we lose any more house-points" he chuckled. "and...your dad's not a bad guy, but I really hate his detentions. don't tell?" he gave her his best charming smile

Pippa giggled. "yea. I won't tell" she picked up a nearby book and flipped through. then used a spell in there to put Fionn into rollerblades. "call me even" she giggled

Molly rolled her eyes. "Blondie, stop being a creep," she crossed her arms and rose her eyebrows at his smile. She did think it was amusing that he was sucking up to her. She didn't want to get in trouble either, but she wasn't about to suck up to get out of it. She then looked at Pippa with a small smile. "Thanks, I-we really appreciate it." Before she knew it, Pippa had jinxed Fionn into some roller blades, which sent Molly into a fit of laughter. She doubled over, clutching her side. "Oh, I like you," Molly said in between laughs.
