Speciality:
-Apparition. Izabella is extremely skilled in the art of apparition so much so that she has forgone the use of a broom, and does not require her wand to do it (though the range is significantly cut without one). It is a curious habit of herself to unconsciously apparate short distances, and as such she is one of the few with a special license to travel through the boundaries of Hogwarts in such a manner. Some describe her usage of this ability as 'silk moving through water'
-Curses/Defense. Iza has a talent for curses especially those that affect the targets luck, this talent is what has helped her stay alive against many magical beasts. Since she has memorized almost every curse she could, she also knows how to counter cast against such magics making her a very tough duelling partner. It is whispered that she also knows how to cast all three of the forbidden curses but has never shown the ability to do so.
-Veela Magic. Marina like all other half Veela can lull other species into a sense of security, euphoria and adoration by dancing. Though Marina shows little attention to this talent, and rarely if ever uses it.
Limitations:
-Potions. Iza and potions for some reason do not seem to get along well, every time she tries to mix one it ends up blowing up. Most of the student body believe it is some hex she got although she doesn't remember being hexed. But ever since her multiple cases of blowing stuff up she has been banned from all potions labs.
-Transfiguration. Iza is not skilled at changing things from their original state into a new form, she feels the actions unnatural and while trying to do even basic spells there is a chance it does not end up right. This is due to her personal history, she does not feel right changing things making object something different.
-Patronus: Izabella does not have a patronus, every time she tries to cast the spell it fails.... no one knows the reason behind this.
-Memory Charms: she is very touchy on the subject of memory charms, and as such forbids the use of it in her class. Her punishments are usually more severe if she catches a student using one on another student. She does not practice the use of them and as such has fallen out of practice with them.

Personality:
Izabella is.... eccentric, she is constantly seeking knowledge, discovering new things and adding them to her collection. She values intelligence and sense over senseless running into danger. She respects all the magical creatures and expects the same of her students, known to kick students out of her class if she thinks their behaviour could put others in danger. Also due to her past issues with memory, she holds fasts unto the friends that she makes for fear of losing it all again. If a bit stubborn and headstrong she's willing to concede if you have a logical argument.
Like many with Veela blood in their veins the last thing you want to do is to make them angry,when angered I mean truly angry Izabella becomes a nightmare and threatens to hurt the offender with the vast array of curses she knows. Which she will explain all the bad things that will happen in great detail. But it is hard to drive Marina to that state, and Aliss is the only woman on record who can calm Izabella down when she gets like this.
She keeps her students on a firm leash for their safety, treating her classes more like a bootcamp in how to survive then just simply how to take care of you new magical pet. This does not mean she doesn't care about them, in fact she has a great love for her students and does her upmost to make sure they are protected when they are with her.
Her unorthodox methods of teaching earned her the watchful eye of the head master. Whom she constantly argues with about the curriculum.
History:
As a student many people remember her as being a haughty stubborn snottish young girl whose thirst for knowledge overcame her sense of humanity. Very much a pure blood enthusiast till her graduating year. The woman today is nothing like that....
Izabella fought during the great wizarding wars and was found in a battlefield with her as the only survivor, brought back to a hospital it was found out that she had lost all of her memories. She didnt even know how to use her wand properly.... immediately admitted into the sanatorium so that she could be cured. After years of hard work and relearning she was deemed mentally stable and allowed back into society but never regained her past memories. Seeking out what could have done this to her she became a well known mythical creature hunter, catching and wrangling fearsome beasts. She was offered a teaching position at Hogwarts and took it to gain access to the school's library not to mention see all the creatures in the forbidden forest. Giving up her pursuits of who she was and just living her life.
This was mostly due to the fact that she made friends while at Hogwarts, in particular the defence against the dark arts teacher Aliss who helped her get through the wanting of knowing who she was. Ever since then the two of them have been best friends.... even though they constantly bicker sometimes.
Izabella has been teaching for 3 years now.
