Forbidden Forest Challenge [Moses&Aimee, Scarlet and Todd]

Moses yelled out as a tree fell down, flames abundant on it's branches. He held Aimee's body close as he moved out of the way, the heat of the flames gracing his back. He hissed at the heat, but could not tell if he had been burned. Panic filled his body as he moved as far from the tree as he could, doing his best to keep the unconscious girl secure in his arms. Dark eyes began to scan around for anyone hurt, only to see that only some of them were with him. Where they others? Are they on the other side?[ he wondered, his mind trying to register all that was happening.

What the hell happened anyway? To suddenly have a tree fall in flames! Was a storm happening? it was impossible to tell int eh forest. "Is everyone alright!?" he cried out, holding Aimee close as he continued to back away from the flames.

Todd scrambled back from the blaze, eyes doubling in size and adrenaline rushing through his veins.

At Moses's voice, he turned to him and Aimee, eyes quickly skimming over them to check for any injuries. Struggling to catch his breath, he could only nod that he was alright. He thought he smelled singed flesh, though, and glanced around for the source of the scent. His heart was still slamming itself against his ribs. His mind kept jumping back to the other three - were they alright? He didn't think anyone had been standing directly beneath the trees that had been hit, but he couldn't be sure.

Scarlet screamed when suddenly a tree came down. She froze as she saw that they all of them were now seperated. Her eyes widened in horror, "W-what do we do now..?" She asked quietly, trying to stay calm..And that wasn't very easy due to she was still shaken up by the tiger attack. Scarlet really wanted to get out now.

Moses took a deep breath, only to cough from the growing smoke. He tightened his hold on Aimee and moved towards Todd and Scarlet, looking at them. "We should put out those flames." he said as he made it over to them. He couldn't do anything while holding Aimee, but they both had their wands. His brain began working over time in spells that any other time would have been easier to think of. "You guys can cast Aguamenti right?' he asked, when it finally came to him.

Todd nodded, taking out his wand and trying to steady his grip so as not to misfire and, say, hit one of the other group members. His thoughts were still tied up in a dazed jumble, but he was concentrated enough to do the simple spell. "Augmenti," he hissed to his wand, and a jet of water spouted from the tip of it, showering over the flames.

Scarlet nodded, before pointing her wand at the flames, "Augmenti!" She said, before water shot out of her wand and attacked the flames. And when the flames were gone, she ran to Aimee and Moses. She went to her knees and checked Aimee's wounds, "I'm going to heal her.." Scarlet said as she was trying to be brave right now. She took out her little bottle of Essence of Dittany. She then dip one drop on Aimee's wound. Before sealing the bottle back up and putting it back in her pocket. And not even two minutes after, her wound had healed, "She will wake up soon.."

Aimee began to slowly awake in Moses arms, blinking the sleep away from her long eyelashes, she yawned. "Hello Moses," She grinned up at him. "Did I fall asleep or something?" She looked confused until she recognised the surroundings of the forest and her healing wound on her arm and chest. "Oh..." She paused realising what had happened, she shuddered with the flashback of the tiger. Instantly, she jumped from Moses' arms on guard and looked around, hugging Scarlet tight before stumbling, still feeling a little drowsy. "I'm so glad your alright!" She smiled weakly before leaning back against Moses. "Thank you," She looked up at him gratefully. "And thank you for healing me Scarlet," She noticed the bottle of dytanny.

Todd heaved a relieved sigh when Amy awoke. She did stumble a bit, but at least she didn't seem to be in any fatal condition. He screwed his nose up against the smell of the burnt trees and turned to the rest of the group. "Um, so, what now?" he asked, still nervous for the others that weren't with them. He very much wished he could be sure that they were alright.

Moses watched as the others put the fires out, adjusting his hold on Aimee as he did so. When Scarlet approached, saying she could heal Aimee, he gave a relieved sigh. As glad as he was that she wasn't bleeding anymore, he still hated seeming the wound on her arm. He watched in amazement as the little drop of, something, began to heal up the claw marks.

And as Scarlet said, Aimee awoken. As the blonde grinned up him, he felt a smile form in return. "Ciao..." he said quietly, relief on his face. At her question, he blinked for a moment before opening his mouth to answer. But before he could say anything, she jumped out of his arms in a panic. She hugged close to Scarlet as she stumbled, causing Moses to move forward to help if he was needed. But she seemed to right herself. As Aimee thanked him, he simply gave a smile.

At Todd's words though, Moses blinked and frowned. What did they need to do. "We need to find the others." he said after a moment, looking around. They would need to walk around in the forest.

Aimee nodded but looked a little fearfully around the forest, this wouldn't be easy... but perhaps she could help things now she was awake. Walking away from the three she found a little clearing not too far away. Standing upright, she whistled, but this wasn't really a normal whistle, it was loud and poignant with a specific tone and rhythm. "He should be on his way now!" She grinned and called back to the others.

Within a few moments, she was right. A youthful hippogriff swooped down between the trees and landed next to Aimee in the clearing, bowing to her promptly as she approached him and stroked him. "His name is Alfie!" She laughed lightly. "Thought he might come in useful, I was going to mention him before but I kind of..." She trailed off, got attacked... there was no need to bring that up again. "Anyway, the only problem is, Alfie can only carry three and only answers to my call." This meant he couldn't get them out of the forest and he would only be able to take a maximum of three people, including Aimee to find the others. That would leave one of them here, alone.

Todd's eyes widened with astonishment as 'Alfie' swooped down among them. It was a magnificent creature, and he had to tear his gaze from it when he realized Aimee was speaking. He furrowed his brow, glancing around the woods for a beat before shrugging. "I'll stay behind if you guys need to go look for the others," he offered, comforted by the weight of his wand in his grip.

Scarlet's eyes widened as she watched the hippogriff fly down. It was a beautiful creature. And she had always been fascinated, since the moment she learned about them. She smiled as she then remembered the rules of a Hippogriff. You had to give it room to adjust to you, and you had to bow to it..Before you gently walk to it with her arm outstretched, hoping it would place it's head on your hand. Wanting to be petted. And then you would be able to fly it.

Though she would wait until Aimee gave them permission. Even if she was still terrified about being in the forest..It was up to Aimee on who would ride him.

Moses blinked as Aimee whistled, opening his mouth to question it before she said someone would be there soon. Who would be? Dark chocolate eyes widened as a Hippogriff appeared before them, its mighty wings flapping as it landed. The Italian stared at the magnificent creature before he snapped out of his stupor at Aimee's words.

He frowned as it occurred to hims someone would be left behind. That didn't sounds good. As Todd offered to stay behind, Moses bit his lip as his brows furrowed. "I don't like the idea of splitting up." he announced, rubbing his chin. "Couldn't ah Alfie? Couldn't Alfie just walk with us until we found the others, and then use him to bring us back a few at a time?' he asked, looking for some sort of better option.

Aimee sighed, not sure what was best to do as she snuggled into Alfie. "Perhaps I should go and check the others are alright? Then return to you? They could be hurt," She frowned, worried for their wellbeing. Though, she herself was still not walking properly and was leaning on her Hippogriff for support, taking comfort in his aid. "I wouldn't want to leave anyone alone," She frowned slightly at Todd's suggestion, admiring his bravery but refusing to let him take that responsibility. She turned as Moses said what she was thinking. "Only problem is Moses, Alfie won't travel without me." She sighed as Alfie nudged her playfully under the chin so she would continue stroking him, she giggled lightly.

Scarlet looked at Alfie as she kept her distance, before she looked at Aimee, "M-maybe y-you can take us one at a time..to Hogwarts..a-and then go look for the others with him, and do t-the same." She suggested, wondering if that would work. She played with her hands as she really wanted to get out of here.

Todd cocked his head, thinking over their situations. "Uh..Aimee and one other person could go with her to look for the others, which would leave two of us on the ground. That way, no one would be left alone," he suggested. He really hoped that, whatever the sollution, they all got out of here soon. It was getting chilly, and he didn't like the idea od staying out here overnight.

Moses gave a light sigh as he nodded his head. "I had meant for you and a couple at a time Aimee." he said with a smalls mile before his attention was focused on the other's and their ideas. Looking at Scarlet, Moses frowned a little but did not say anything. He could understand her wish to get out as soon as possible. The forest was dangerous and it was getting very cold now. But he felt uneasy not knowing about the others, even if he didn't get a long with some of them.

At Todd's suggestion, Moses felt himself nodding along. That idea was plausible. "I like Todd's idea." he said, not wanting anyone to be alone. But who would go with Aimee and who would stay on foot?

[One person from this topic will escape from the forest tonight with Aimee on Alfie, choose wisely between yourselves on #hogwartsau ... This student will then go get help from Professor Alliss Rivera and another Professor of their choice. The two to stay will camp the night with the other group, all of you will earn an extra 1WC for staying the night. Never fret, they will be collected by the two Professor's the following morning.]

Aimee nodded at all their thoughts and looking at Alfie, he nodded at her almost in agreement with what she was thinking. "I shall take one person back to Hogwarts before returning here, then he or she can go get help from a teacher and I will come back for the other two, taking us three to meet the rest of the group? We could all then camp together until the Professors find us?" She thought the suggestion sounded mostly sensible and she looked in hopeful anticipation around the group.

Aimee nodded at their responses, they had reached the decision that Scarlet would leave for Hogwarts with her. "Right then Scarlet," She smiled welcomingly at the other blonde. "You don't have to go through the regular formalities with Alfie, he trusts anyone he sees is with me." She smiled genuinely and took Scarlet's hand, showing the Hippogriff she was friendly before helping her up. She climbed up after her and although Scarlet looked a little unsteady, she managed to balance okay on him. Smiling to herself, she patted Alfie's neck. "Away we go!" She giggled and smiled as Alfie took off into the sky.

Scarlet nodded at Aimee, "O-okay.." She said, before walking to and taking her hand. She looked at Alfie as it seemed to not attack her while Aimee was next to her. And saw Aimee was right, he only trusted people Aimee trusted. Scarlet then go on Alfie, before shaking a little bit more..She was nervous..due to this was the first time she would ride a Hippogriff..And when Alfie flew, she shrieked as she hugged Aimee from behind.
