Personality: Slick, sly, and charming. He's a lady killer with an agenda. He has a loathing for Muggle borns but doesn't actually mind Half bloods. (They have on wizard parent it was bound to happen but no wizard AND ability? No. That's just defying nature and he hates that).
He's a highly trained animagus, sleek black cat on the prowl. He loves to be petted and listening into conversations. He'll save the information and be sure to use it against you on another date. Derek is a huge rebel and makes it known. He refuses to wear a suit and tie Derek rathers dark denim jeans and a black v-neck tee. He's hot. And he knows it.
Main points? Womanizer, Rebel, Secret Animagus, typical bad boy with an ego.
Appearance: He may look disheveled but it's purposefully done. He's fine and sexy and carries himself as such. He's always wearing a v-neck black tee with jeans of some sort. If he's outside he'll either use his animagus form or a black trench coat.
History: Ask Derek about his past and you won't get much of an answer. He grew up in Britian but his father believed Hogwarts to be a muddied blood pool so he sent his son to Durmstrang. While attending he met Kristopher and the two of them hit it off. They would stay friends the entirety of their schooling years.
Derek was a Chaser on the Quidditch team, eventually being second in command after Kris. It felt natural to follow the charming fellow where ever he was needed to a point.
Derek was recruited by Death Eaters in his 5th year and tried to convince Kristopher to join. The blond wouldn't and it put a strain on their friendship. (Of course Kris being a good friend and loyal never once told anyone of his best friend's alliance to the Dark Lord. Derek hadn't killed anyone and their school was run by Death Eaters... who could he tell anyway?)
Eventually they parted ways when Kris found Derek beyond saving. The rest is a bit blurry but he works as an inspector for the Ministry checking out Tracer Charm activity and makes sure to sweep all Death Eater related magic under the rug.
