Ruined Debris After The Hurricane

There was a chill in the air. It crawled through her clothes and down to her very bones. To her very soul. It was dark, yet she knew where she was going. She had to hurry, for she had to reach her destination at a certain time. What was the time? She did not recall. Her face shown a displeased frown as she made her way through the dark and cold. She was upset, did not wish to travel in the cold. But it had to be done. Before she knew it, she had made it to her destination. It was even darker and colder then the outside.

"Welcome, guests," Ice grew inside her soul as she gasped for air and tried to find a way to cringe away the source of the chilling voice and become warm again. but her body was frozen in place, her face stuck in a mask of smiled. How she wanted to move, to get away. But the icy cold and frozen her. "I, the Dark Lord, have arisen once more."

Blue eyes snapped open as Aileen was jolted out of the realm of dreams. Her body felt stiff and ached as she realized her muscles were tensed to not move at all. As if frozen. Panic filled her for a moment until she slowly rid the tension in her body and slowly moved to a sitting position. The chill still resided in her though and she shivered before pulling the blankets as high up as she could in as she sat up.

A dream? No... a memory. she thought, sighing out as she tried to banish the thoughts of the previous night. It wasn't much, for there was little she could recall. But she wanted to forget even what she could recall. banish it all from her mind. Hopefully if she could forget, then it would banish the fear and venerability she felt. And banish away the cold.

Juliette had taken a bath before she went to bed, but she had woken up with a feeling of dirtiness.. Which was something she usually didn't mind, but she had marks on her from the day before. And she just wanted them gone. She kept washing her body, before finding some bruises from her falling on the ground from the Cruciatus Curse.

Though the marks she hated the most: Was the busted lip, and the bruise on her neck. The two marks left by Ambrose.. the marks she never wanted.. but found to like how it felt when they were placed upon her. She closed her eyes as she tried to wipe the thoughts out of her mind. She couldn't think of Ambrose like that, she told herself she wouldn't think of him like that anymore.. It was a promise.

She sighed as she finished up her shower, getting out of it fast enough to forget about Ambrose. And when she dried up she put on her uniform, before fixing her hair into pigtails to hide her bruised neck. She wanted every mark hidden.

No one would know about this.

When she walked out of the bathroom, she stopped immediately when she saw that Aileen was awake. And as she looked at her friend, she remembered when she crucio'd her. Which made her insides churn. Aileen was one of the people she wanted to avoid for a while.. But it was now looking unlikely she would be able to avoid her.

And even if she knew this, she turned around and started to do her own thing again. As she didn't want to talk.

A sound caught her attention and alerted her out of her deep thoughts. Turning her head, blue eyes took note of the opened bathroom door and Juliette walking in. Once again, Aileen was plagued by the few memories she head, awaking in the Hospital Wing surrounded by those in pain. Juliette had looked worse for wear, cringing in pain yet forced herself off of the floor. And then there was the dead little girl... No! she told herself as she closed her eyes for a moment. Don't think about it.

If she didn't think, then she could forget. And if she could forget, then life could go on and everything would be fine. Wouldn't it?

Opening her eyes once more, she looked at her friend. Only to see the other look like she was going to be sick before turning around. Mentally, she winced at the sight, knowing very well the other did not wish to speak with her. Probably did not wish to see her. Aileen felt a mix between guilt, which she rarely felt at all, and anger. For she did not recall her actions that would make the other like this.

But the raven-haired girl kept quiet, her face a mask of calm indifference, as she rose from her bed and silently made her way to the bathroom. She casted one last look to the blonde, her blue eyes showing her mixed feelings before she turned away and and closed the door behind her.

She did not bother to lock it, for she planned to shower. And one would have had to been deaf to not hear the running water. She turned the water on to the hottest setting and stripped her clothes and it began to fall. Her body shivered with the cold from her memories and as she stepped under the scalding water, she felt she still couldn't get warm enough.
